Additional Cleaning Requests
Cleaning walls and baseboards is an additional service and must be requested in advance. Changing garbage bags must also be requested. Our cleaners will place garbage in the appropriate on-site disposal area, but will not remove it from the property.
OVEN CLEANING
Inside Oven Cleaning
Inside oven cleaning is an additional service and requires advance notice. We use a specialized oven-cleaning product, which is billed separately. We leave the oven racks to soak; the client must rinse them later.
Your Client Hub lets you review previous cleaning appointments and check upcoming visits. Open Appointments, select a date, and check “Who’s coming?” The time shown is the expected arrival time or arrival window—not the length of the clean.

2. Check Who’s coming?
A cleaner’s name means the visit is assigned. No name means the date and cleaner are still being arranged, so the displayed date may change.
3. Viewing only
Weekend or holiday dates are usually moved. A reminder is emailed three days before your visit. The Client Hub is for viewing only; for changes or instructions, email mail@soap-and-suds.com or call or text 613-539-5757.
Airbnb Cleaning Requests
Before you request a turnover
Submitting the Airbnb request form is not a confirmed booking. We review each turnover against staffing, travel, notice and the cleaning window, and confirm it in writing. Submit one request per turnover with checkout and check-in dates, guest and room counts, laundry or linen needs, access, garbage, photos, restocking and extras. Turnover cleaning is $57 per hour, per cleaner, HST included. Laundry is quoted separately and needs at least 72 hours notice. Report schedule changes through the office. A confirmed cleaning cancelled with less than four days notice is billed at the expected charge.

Until recently, many residential clients specifically requested female cleaners. As the labour market changes and demand continues to grow, Soap & Suds is expanding our residential team to include qualified male cleaners.
Every cleaner is held to the same standards for professionalism, respect, privacy, safety and quality. Cleaner assignments are based on availability, experience, location and service needs, and we cannot guarantee a cleaner of a particular gender.
Why we Steam
Why we Steam and not mop
STEAMING vs MOPPING or spot cleaning,
Soap and suds has been in business for 16 plus years and only utilize the proper sanitary practice of vapour steaming.
WE DO NOT MOP AND BUCKET
The reason we steam is that we use a professional steamer (not bought in your regular box store) . They use steam vapours to lift dirt through the steam and the continuous changing of the pad on the steamer. No chemical is required therefore no residue is possible once all previously used chemical is cleaned away with steam vapours.
They do not use water or chemicals like a soft mop would use leaving that residue on your floor or leaving the floors too wet damaging them. A soft mop will also push around dust skin follicles and dirt around your floor and home as opposed to lifting and removing it.
We have been in business for 16-plus years cleaning thousands upon thousands of floors weekly never causing damage.
Please note: a lot of installation/sales companies for flooring suggest not to steam-- these companies are referring to the steamers that use continuous "water" with the potential of damaging their floors. As professionals in their trade, yes they are correct but only with other steamers and regular residential usage by NON trained individuals.
As professionals --defined as individuals whom have reached 10 thousand hours of an industry-- in OUR trade we fully stand behind our processes for cleaning what they have installed.
If you as a client choose not to have your floor steamed our compromise is that we will vacuum floor of all dust and dirt and when we have left from the clean you are welcome to clean your floor however you choose.
We have a certain standard and strive to keep these standards.
